Beijing October 24th, according to Charania reports, former NBA All-Star center Stoudemire has agreed to join the Nets coaching staff and serve as Steve Nash's assistant.
Not long ago, the Nets hired 2 regular season MVP Nash as the team's new coach. Today, Chalamia reported that Nash’s former Suns teammate Stoudemire had agreed to join the Nets as an assistant coach.
From 2004 to 2010, Nash and Stoudemire formed a golden partner for the Suns, and their pick-and-roll offensive Megatron Alliance.
It is reported that former Suns coach Mike D'Antoni may also join the Nets as an assistant coach.
The 37-year-old Stoudemire last played in the NBA in 2016. Since then, he has played professional leagues in China and Israel.
